Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 24, 2026

1. What we collect

When you create an account we collect your name and email address. When you connect a social media account (X, Facebook, or LinkedIn) we store the OAuth access token and refresh token issued by that platform so we can publish posts on your behalf.

2. How we use your data

Your data is used solely to operate CrowdPost: authenticating you, publishing the posts you schedule, and showing you the status of past and upcoming posts. We do not sell your data to third parties and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Third-party platforms

CrowdPost communicates with X (Twitter), Facebook, and LinkedIn using their official APIs. Your content and tokens are transmitted to those platforms only to fulfil the publishing actions you request. Each platform's own privacy policy governs how they handle data on their end.

4. Security

OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest in our database. All traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted in transit via TLS.

5. Your rights

You can disconnect any social account at any time from the Accounts settings page. You can delete your CrowdPost account from the Profile settings page, which permanently removes all your data from our systems. To request a copy of your data or for any other privacy questions, contact us at the address below.

6. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or analytics cookies.

7. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
